Winter 2013

Winter follows fall. Ice-in occurred shortly after Thanksgiving this year. Camp rested during the month of December, gearing up for an active and exciting New Year and months of Winter Retreats! WCB hosted a retreat every weekend through the end of February. During this time, we’ve enjoyed solid ice and decent snow fall. Groups have been active x-skiing, snow-shoeing, playing broomball and winter saunaing to name a few. The Ski Hill that was cut during summer ’12 was in use and made for a exhilarating descent down onto the lake. Many groups also enjoyed the peace and quiet of a fire cracking in the fireplace, a good book or puzzle and a hot chocolate.

Fall 2012

Fall came to WCB – mildly in August and September, but quite windy in October. We didn’t receive a lot of precipitation and most of the area is in drought conditions. WCB hosted several weekend youth and adult retreats, as well as sending out a couple fall canoe trips. Here is a sampling of pictures throughout our fall. You can check out more on our Tumblr page.
