Friends of Wilderness Canoe Base
The Friends of Wilderness Canoe Base support the camp’s ministries by loving God and loving kids (of all ages!), growing the Wilderness community, and passing on Wilderness tradition.
Who is a Friend of Wilderness Canoe Base? Well, we think that everyone who has ever set foot at WCB is a “friend” of Wilderness. Yes, that means you are a part of this!
What we are asking folks to do is to join together and become more actively engaged as “portage partners” if you will. Help us keep this important network of people connected with each other by coming to events and inviting WCB friends, or maybe even helping organize one!
While we realize it’s not often possible to make the trip up the Gunflint Trail, we are hoping that these events will help connect people to Fishhook and Dominion Island and all that’s currently going on at camp. There are so many ways to visit and be engaged!
